August 12, 2009 I will be giving a talk called "Aliens, Ghosts, and Ten Gallon Hats: Reading and Writing in Your Favorite Genres" at the Baldwin Public Library. This event is part of their End of Summer Reading Party for teens. Please join us. It should be fun!

June 2004 My next edited book examines the writing of Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, Sports Night, A Few Good Men, The American President, and Malice). This collection includes more than a dozen essays about Aaron Sorkin's craft and his impact on television and film today. I also discussed some of these issues with Aaron Sorkin himself, and a transcript of our interview is included in the book.
